Anthony and Lexy’s wedding day was one that I was oh so grateful to be a part of. It’s a great thing when your clients really care about their photos – it’s inspiring and liberating and makes the job that much more fun. And to document two people who not only care about each other, but those around them, is a pretty special thing, too.

To the newly married husband and wife, thank you for having me as your wedding photographer! Hope you enjoyed your honeymoon soaking up the sun and each other in Maui. May our paths cross again soon!

The day started off perfectly with getting ready photos of Lexy and her gorgeous girls…made extra lovely by my favourite, Ashley of Wedded Bliss.

They said their I do’s at St. Michael’s in New Westminster and then it was off to Langley for photos and their reception at Redwoods Golf Course.

It’s not every wedding that you have a wedding party as wonderful as this one!

Lexy, you truly made the most beautiful bride…I think your new husband thought so, too.

After their engagement session last year, I knew to look forward to Tim and Stacy’s wedding day. Spend a little time with these two and you’ll quickly pick up on their love for one another. It’s a kind of love that is excited to do life together, in each other’s arms and by each others’ sides. They have a passion for life and for family and they definitely know how to throw a good party. And nothing could get in the way of their happiness the day they became husband and wife – not even when not one, but two wasps found their way under Stacy’s dress, stinging the bride!

It was a beautiful day at Stanley Park Pavilion and Tim and Stacy, I’m so grateful I was there to document it! Enjoy this sneak peek of your photos while you honeymoon in Europe!

The day began at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel where Stacy and her girls got ready…

The reaction to seeing Stacy in her gown was all too perfect…

Lovers of nature and the great outdoors, Isaac and Lori Ann were hiking the Juan de Fuca trail with friends. They decided to put in a long first day, hours upon hours of trekking, and it stormed…so it was through rain and mud that they made it to camp where Lori Ann, understandably, only wanted to rest. But Isaac had other plans. He asked her on a walk and so she threw on her hoody and they made their way to the beach where Isaac pulled out his phone to take a photo of the two of them. Setting it up, he secretly switched it to video mode and catching Lori Ann off guard, proposed! Isaac felt the day perfect for it, as he could only see himself weathering the storms of life with her by his side.

This October Isaac and Lori Ann will be married at Fraser River Lodge and I’m so excited to document it. For me, it’s an extra treat getting to be their wedding photographer as just last year I photographed Lori Ann’s sister’s wedding! Such a wonderful family to work with. Cassandra and Tyler were married at their parents’ farm, the same farm where we took these engagement photos…
