Vitala Long Table Feast

I’m feeling the love after being a guest at Vitala’s incredible long table feast. Forget quality time…food is my love language! And there was plenty of it to indulge in and savour…not to mention the generous swag bags at the end, filled to the brim with Vitala products including their freshly launched cheeses, vitamin D eggs and perhaps the best/healthiest milk you can find. Seriously.

Taken from their website:

At Vitala Foods, our mission is to bring healthy foods to the world. We’re a local dairy and egg company based in Abbotsford, BC making healthy, functional foods while maintaining high standards in sustainability and animal welfare. We believe in the importance of understanding where our food comes from, supporting local producers, and eating fresh, seasonal produce whenever possible.

The evening was held in celebration of their gorgeous blog, Roots: Farm, Food, & Family, a place of inspiration and education and lovely photographs. It’s really a delight to read so be sure to take a peek and then pay a visit to the farm to meet the Vitala cows, enjoy a mountain view picnic in their park, or pick up fresh produce at the market.

I left my camera at  home in light of their hired photographer being on hand to capture the evening’s event (no one likes a shadow!). But upon seeing the bounty of pretty fall decor and detail, I wish I had stuck my camera in my purse after all! My iPhone photos will have to suffice though they don’t do the soiree justice…

On hand to create the delectable feast was Dino and his team from The Bon Vivant Group

Thank you so much to Bill and Helinda, the brains and beauty behind the farm, for a wonderful evening!
