Toasting with glasses of bubbly and a few tears of happiness, Tanya remembered to take in the moment. To soak in the fact that her wedding day was upon her, in spite of the bustle of preparations for such an event. She got ready with her mom, her sister, and a dear friend upstairs at The Ranche, the room echoing of the bride’s enthusiasm and sweet spirit…all that was missing was some music, so I supplied my iPhone and soon the likes of John Legend, Ray LaMontagne, and Ben Harper were there as well.
The night before there had been a hint of snow, but the sun shone brightly (and just warm enough) in Calgary last Friday as Tanya and Chris became husband and wife in an outdoor ceremony before fifteen of their family members. They chose the very place where Chris proposed, The Ranche, and it was perfect.
Their wedding stationery was created by the graphic designer groom, Chris himself, and I loved all the detail…can you spot the bride & groom on the porch?

These are GORGEOUS! What a happy, beautiful bride! I love the ones of her in the chair in the field~ so “prairie”. And the ones on the stone steps and the old dirt road…I can almost smell the dry fall air and hear the leaves crunch. And such pretty, rustic reception details! Way to go! Again.
