These things I want to remember: finding joy/rest/each other in the midst of a wonderfully crazy wedding season (and a new endeavour we’re excited to announce very soon).
Enjoying pieces of summer. A farmer’s market & buying fresh, local produce, lake views & gelato, a road trip & loud music. Visiting Hainle Vineyard, tasting organic wines and treating ourselves to our favourite, a bottle of pinot noir, the same that was served at the Royal Wedding.
A picnic lunch in an empty park (except for two tight rope walkers). Realizing it’s empty because it’s a week day; we’re grateful for the flexibility in our work schedules. Listening to radio tunes of French lyrics, and some English, matching songs to passersby. Cherry seed spitting contests – his was an easy win though he did his best to teach me while we laughed at my attempts.
Celebrating all that God has done in our lives these past two years, all that he is doing, and all that he will.

Love this. Absolutely love it
