I am with you

Sometimes fear lingers and sometimes fear creeps in and seizes my chest. It’s new opportunities, situations that make me feel vulnerable, that ask something – seemingly too much – of me. Honestly, they make me want to stay in bed all day.

And then I read scripture passages like this: Isaiah 41:10 “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

And this: Psalm 34:4-5 “I sought the Lord and he answered me and he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant and their faces shall never be ashamed.”

It’s those same opportunities that I look back on and feel gratitude towards. Because by God’s strength they pushed me, they taught me, they helped me grow. Here’s to those and many more…

I know that feeling.
I am glad to hear you are holding on to God’s promises during those times.
I LOVE that psalm!! Thanks for sharing. I am a fan of your work and am always encouraged to hear what God is doing through you.

agreed, I know the feeling!

I always think of Ruth…how she stepped forward in faith and left her homeland to follow God’s leading. And how her life was blessed and her legacy continues! It always resonates with me when I get paralyzed on the edge of a new opportunity or goal. God has proven himself faithful :D

Thank you for being real! Fear prompts me to trust, to have faith, and finally to have courage to do the things I thought I couldn’t do. Thankful that God is there with us every step of the way.
