My husband, Haddon, and I have been married for a little over a year now. It was one of the hardest years ever!! Full of bumps and bruises but so much growth (slowly but surely). This was a sweet reminder of God's faithfulness to us as we step back and see Him at work in the mess. :)

That is great!! Thanks for sharing. I remember going to a wedding that Pastor Dave did ages ago... like at least 10 years ago. The couple was really into Coke, so he did something similar to yours with two cans of Coke.

Love this post! It is so important to always be growing in your marriage relationship...and I loved reading what your pastor wrote on the doing family right website about the 4 pillars of marriage.

Mikaela,
Greg and I both appreciated that wedding sermon so much. We too, now race in the morning to see who first can make the other one smile/laugh. Greg wins more than me - but a great little game. Thank you for reminding me of that sermon again.
