Long Beach Lodge Wedding: Tori + Scott

The number of years is up for debate among family and friends but Scott is pretty certain that the answer is eleven. That’s how long he and Tori have known each other…ever since Tori was in her early teens, back when their long distance, long phone calls caused the phone company to take them off unlimited minutes. As soon as she could, Tori made the move to Calgary to be with Scott, and their conversations continued, as did their love.

It led them to this day, one that was years in the making, when they exchanged vows and committed to forever. It was an intimate wedding celebrated by close friends and family,¬†overlooking the ocean at the beautiful Long Beach Lodge, a wedding that we were incredibly honored to be a part of. Tori and Scott, the words thank you don’t express how grateful I was to be your wedding photographer; it reminded me how blessed I am to do what I do. And now may you have an amazing honeymoon in Fiji, digging your toes into the warm sand and soaking in the first few weeks of being husband and wife!

I was smitten with Tori’s Pronovias¬†lace wedding gown…

The girls spent a relaxed morning getting ready with some bubbly in hand…

A girl deserves lots of sparkle on her wedding day…

Tori showed her girls her gratitude with a little something from Coach

Their day wouldn’t be complete without sharing it with their dog Peanut!

Shane spent some time with the guys as they got ready…

Experience won over technology ;)

One of the best moments of the day – Scott and Tori’s first look!

As I was getting some of the above shots, Shane grabbed the photo below on the left. And I love it.

A wedding party toast just before the ceremony…my photo above, Shane’s below…

We stole away for a few moments before the reception to catch the softer, sunset light and I am so glad we did….
