Filled Again

I’ve seen and heard and lived through many answered prayers. Yet, it still speaks to my heart when I see another. Because even in the simplest or most unexpected or unassuming ways, God speaks to us, directly.

Having a challenging day, and in need of a lift in a hurry, I prayed as I drove along the freeway. Asking God for inspiration, for creativity, for energy…and when I arrived at my destination, I saw this on the beach…

Someone had crafted this beautiful, random piece of art out of the creativity that God shares with us everyday…and in that moment I was filled again, thank you Jesus. And then the sun came out after a drizzly morning, and I got to photograph a girl with a beautiful outlook on life and her amazing friends, and then drive back home with a grateful heart.

I had one of these moments the other day. Just a bad day and my husband left for work and put a CD in and the song that played when I came in the room overwhelmed me to tears. It wasn’t even a “christian” song but it felt like God was speaking directly to me. So beautiful. Hope you’re feeling better!ReplyCancel

love this. Jesus is amazing! (:

I love when he speaks directly to our hearts. In fact, one time, when I was on a walk, praying, he showed me many heart shaped clouds! I just loved it.ReplyCancel
