We have truly been spoiled. Or blessed. Yes, definitely blessed. A couple weeks ago my parents – with the help of friends and family – threw us the sweetest engagement party! My mom has a tendency to go all out with her creativity and effort when it comes to parties. And she surely did this time. She said she would keep it simple and just do desserts…simple? Paper pom poms and bunting and twinkling lights and photos filled the yard and cupcakes and pie and cake (thanks Whitney!) and squares and brownies filled our tummies. I don’t think my mom understands the word ‘simple’ ;)
