A running theme in my life during the last (almost) two weeks: speechlessness, gratitude, and surrealness. That’s not a word but I had to make it fit! When I first found out that Shane was surprising me with an engagement session with Jasmine, ask him, ask her, check the video, but I was either lost for words or all high-pitched and didn’t sound like myself! And filled with overwhelming gratitude (and LOVE) toward Shane, toward God for bringing this man into my life – for keeps! – we went to California. And got in front of Jasmine and JD’s cameras. And a new sense of gratitude, a new sense of something surreal.
oh jasmine. i don’t even know what to say. what a privilege it was to get in front of your camera…and to see the results, the love that you caught between me and shane, i just can’t thank you enough! thank you for putting your heart into what you do so amazingly well, for the laughs and for your friendship, and for sharing your secret behind your buff arms ;) we love you and so appreciate you and jd! oh i thank God for bringing us together! thank you for being an example to myself and shane, an example of what it’s like to be a Christ-centered, dynamic working couple.
Did I mention that they’re totally fun as well?

Wow! must have been such an awesome experience for you and your fiance’ to hang out with Jasmine and JD! Being in orange county ourselves (me and my wife) we almost always hope that we would one day run into them while on their shoot. lol! Laguna beach is such an amazing city. I proposed to my wife at the cliffs down there and we got married in the same city as well. (Tivoli terrace) I wish you guys the all the best and may you also be a light to everyone up there in Canada for your joy and for the glory of Jesus Christ!
